Das Programm verwendet dazu Karten der Landsat-Satelliten und Daten von Radar Topographie Missionen des Space Shuttles. World Wind erlaubt es dem Heimanwender aus der Sicht eines Satelliten auf einen Ort seiner Wahl auf unserem Planeten heranzuzoomen. ![]()
